"Horrya," a tribute to past victims

A magnificent 4-meter-high steel sculpture by Tunisian artist Inkman welcomes you on the sidewalk in front of the Carlton. Installed in January 2020 to commemorate the 10th year of the Tunisian revolution, which began there, in front of the Carlton on Habib Bourguiba Avenue, the epicenter of the Arab Spring. Since then, it has been the birthplace of Tunisian democracy. "Liberty," "Horrya," is a tribute to past victims and a message of hope for future generations.
