One of the Most Important Museums in the Maghreb

Located on the outskirts of the city towards Beja and Bizerte, this museum was created in 1882 in one of the pavilions of the Beylical palace. It is one of the most important museums in the Maghreb, with its beautiful hand-painted ceilings, majestic ornaments, and woodwork. It brings together numerous objects and archaeological treasures from all over Tunisia and especially the most beautiful collection of Roman mosaics in the world, from the most famous sites in Tunisia (Carthage, Sousse, Dougga...).
